Sure! Airtight container at room temperature and I guess it’d last 2 weeks.]]> By: Mary https://showmetheyummy.com/slow-cooker-chex-mix/#comment-18119 Sun, 17 Dec 2017 17:21:52 +0000 http://showmetheyummy.com/?p=5376#comment-18119 By: Jennifer https://showmetheyummy.com/slow-cooker-chex-mix/#comment-8421 Wed, 21 Dec 2016 20:44:38 +0000 http://showmetheyummy.com/?p=5376#comment-8421 Jennifer. I hope you love it Rachel! 🙂]]> By: Rachel https://showmetheyummy.com/slow-cooker-chex-mix/#comment-8420 Wed, 21 Dec 2016 18:51:49 +0000 http://showmetheyummy.com/?p=5376#comment-8420 Debbie. Just got done throwing mine in the crockpot. I too added peanuts but took it a step further and added a cajun trail mix in as well. Fingers crossed it turns out right! Thanks for the recipe!]]> By: Jennifer https://showmetheyummy.com/slow-cooker-chex-mix/#comment-8359 Sun, 18 Dec 2016 21:51:27 +0000 http://showmetheyummy.com/?p=5376#comment-8359 Jennifer. Hi Mel! The bottom/sides of the crockpot get hot and make the cereal nice and toasty 🙂]]> By: Jennifer https://showmetheyummy.com/slow-cooker-chex-mix/#comment-8355 Sun, 18 Dec 2016 21:49:43 +0000 http://showmetheyummy.com/?p=5376#comment-8355 Jennifer. Hi Debbie! Yay! Thank you so much! The chex mix should dry out enough once you lay it out after it’s done cooking in the crockpot, but I’m glad to hear it worked in the oven as well. 🙂 I love that you added peanuts and I LOVE the idea of using this in gift bags!]]> By: Debbie https://showmetheyummy.com/slow-cooker-chex-mix/#comment-8330 Sat, 17 Dec 2016 05:30:20 +0000 http://showmetheyummy.com/?p=5376#comment-8330 Just now made it because Chex mix is my favorite thing!! Didn’t mind the time to stir- just worked it into my movie. House smells great!! That said, I have a very large and very powerful slow cooker. After 2 hours cooking/stirring, I ended up with some burned bits and still ended up throwing it in a 200 degree oven for a few. Just wouldn’t dry out… I also always pick out the pretzels, so I subbed some peanuts. If it turned out as yummy as I think- gift bags for the holidays!! Thanks!]]> By: Mel https://showmetheyummy.com/slow-cooker-chex-mix/#comment-8323 Fri, 16 Dec 2016 19:35:14 +0000 http://showmetheyummy.com/?p=5376#comment-8323 By: Jennifer https://showmetheyummy.com/slow-cooker-chex-mix/#comment-8162 Fri, 09 Dec 2016 03:37:58 +0000 http://showmetheyummy.com/?p=5376#comment-8162 Jennifer. Hi Scott! That would be too salty. Use the plain chex cereal 🙂]]> By: Scott https://showmetheyummy.com/slow-cooker-chex-mix/#comment-8159 Fri, 09 Dec 2016 02:57:25 +0000 http://showmetheyummy.com/?p=5376#comment-8159
